Quinn’s Auction Galleries
Quinn’s Auction Galleries is a full service auction and estate services company. Specialties range from fine art and antiques to rare books and maps. Founder Paul Quinn has been instrumental in its transition from a small “mom & pop”organization into the regional auction house it is today. In 1987, Paul founded the Falls Church Antique Company, antique mall, in the “old white house” on Broad street in Falls Church. In 1995, he saw the founding of The Auction House of Falls Church, with his son and co-founder David, as the next step in fueling his passion for antiques and developing his business corporation.
Another son, Matthew, played a leading role in the growth and development of Quinn’s Auction Galleries into one of the DC area’s finest antiques and fine art auction firms. Matthew spearheaded the development of Quinn’s Realty & Estate Services division expanding the auction house into a full service firm, focusing on assisting senior citizenswith downsizing and helping families through estate dissolution with sensitivity and a focus on financial preservation. He routinely educates seniors in the Washington DC area on estateplanning. Matthew has been featured on the cover of Antique Trader Magazine in “Generation Next,” an article featuring the youngest leaders in the industry. Nationally, he has appeared on NBC’sToday Show, CNN, and has been written about in trade publications including AntiqueWeek, Antiques & the Arts Weekly and Maine Antiques Digest.
